A car accident in 2001 left me in constant chronic neck pain and migraines, leading me to my first acupuncture experience. I had a constant migraine behind one of my eyes and neck pain for over three months before I had the first acupuncture treatment.
During the acupuncture treatment, I experienced a tingling sensation across my scalp as the migraine pain fell away within minutes.
I remember walking away feeling like I was floating down the street, remembering what it was like to not be in constant pain.
This experience of being fully energized and pain-free is what I would like each of my patients to take away from their first treatment. It's my style of therapy to teach people how to sense their bodies and find balance. My goal is to coach or guide patients in ways that will help them gain independence and live their best lives.
